HISTORY IN THE MAKING

A NEW TAKE ON URBAN.

The Harrison Park project is located in the Harrison West neighborhood, between downtown Columbus and The Ohio State University’s main campus. For 100 years this site was home to a margarine and soybean oil processing plant. Abandoned in the mid-1990’s it had become a severely blighting influence on the neighborhood.

Working with the Clean Ohio grant program, Wagenbrenner Development (now Thrive Companies) redeveloped this 18-acre polluted industrial site and partnered with Rockford Homes and Elford to construct beautiful, vibrant, high-quality housing that blends in with the historic residential homes in the neighborhood.
